The most rewarding therapeutic experience starts with a strong collaborative relationship. My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe space that is free of judgment. I believe that therapy is about identifying strengths, building coping skills, and achieving a sense of inner calm. We will work together to develop tools and techniques to help you make changes and cope with life’s challenges.
As the lead intake clinician I also support clients and therapists in the intake process, provide administrative support, and will help connect clients with therapists and offer referral support as needed.
I also provide clinical supervision for therapists who are accumulating hours for the highest clinical license in their profession.
I received my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania in 2004. Since then, I have provided psychotherapy services in a variety of settings with children, adolescents, adults, and families. My areas of expertise include working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, school difficulties, a history of trauma, parenting difficulties, relationship difficulties, and family discord. My approach is eclectic and draws upon many perspectives such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strengths Perspective, Family Systems Theory, and Trauma Informed Practice.
